Stayed at a great hostel in Tulum with a perfect location, just a short walk from the bus station. There were plenty of amazing food and drink options nearby, and I always felt safe walking alone. the hostel had lovely grounds with lots of space, a big kitchen, and beautiful plants. My dorm was far enough from the central gathering area that I wasn't disturbed at night. the staff was incredibly helpful, even going above and beyond to assist me with changing my dates and providing useful tips for my trip. a competitive price for all the amenities offered. Cons: Nothing everything was great! 😊.

Great communal garden spaces, perfect for relaxation. Convenient location for accessing shops and transportation. Clean and comfortable rooms with air conditioning, and the property was well-maintained. Friendly and informative staff who provided helpful information about activities and made me feel welcome. Activities such as lagoons and beach days offered at affordable prices. Bikes and snorkel gear available for rent.
Some staff members were not as friendly or welcoming, which affected the overall atmosphere of the hostel. There was a lack of consistent hospitality towards all guests.

Oryx was like a small oasis in Tulum, surrounded by palms and fruit trees. They offered free coffee/tea in the morning, had a clean and well-organized open kitchen, and provided free water refills. There were daily activities and lots of hammocks to relax in. the shared bathrooms were clean, and though the A/C only worked at night, the fans were sufficient. The staff was welcoming and there were bikes available for rent. Cons: Absolutely nothing! 😊.

The friendly staff made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. They even helped us book a fantastic tour, a highlight of our trip. The common areas both indoors and outdoors had a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere, perfect for chilling out. The shared toilets and showers were very clean, and the easy parking right in front of the hostel was convenient. We felt safe with good security measures in place. The fact that they allowed us to check in early at 9am was a bonus. their responsiveness and helpfulness on WhatsApp was greatly appreciated.

The location is perfect, not too close to the crowded clubs but still within easy reach of the ADO bus station. The hostel has a great atmosphere and the staff are friendly and helpful. The daily organized activities were a bonus, whether it's yoga or exploring nearby cenotes and beaches. The hostel grounds are like a small jungle oasis with a lovely pool and cabanas. I can't wait to come back!
